I’ve asked this question many times and still haven’t received an answer. I don’t expect an answer but I’m hoping to hear from others seeing the same thing. I’m all for curators and agree that machines (as of yet) don’t point out the best of it. And yet what Medium pushes on me seems to be, time and again, not the eclectic material I came here for. Furthermore, the diversity of the topics and the authors (usually the same thing) seems to be lacking. When I came here this was not the case and yet time and again there appears to be a singular frame of mind. What this means is it takes work to get past that. Is Medium doing anything to improve the diversity of choices? Why only push one kind of story, from one subsection of writers?
