The Land Thousands of Years After the Floods Ripped Through

I recently wrote about the Spokane Floods — the greatest floods ever known. 1000 foot walls of water tore up the Eastern and Central parts of Washington State. The essay looks at the floods in visceral terms as well as the way the “other” flood is spoken about (and many traditions have talk about floods) and how that is ultimately provincial talking. In other words I’m staking a claim about the flood being local and Bronze age people…
