Well said! I think a lot of us without bestsellers or that cushy columnist job at the Times (and probably even those might lean towards complaining) tend to beat up on ourselves. Part of the grind and especially part of the writer’s grind, right?

Funny thing is that I wrote something similar:

What I was trying to say is that we should all take a moment to enjoy our creations (while never forgetting to strive for more). You raise some good points in that we should also enjoy the discussions and connections that our works create. I’ll be sure to do this in the future.
