Yeah, I don’t get it either. One can make some qualitative statements about how Bush was better in some terms (and that’s a few, though he was worse in others like, you know, starting wars… give Trump time on that one, though) without incorrectly remembering history.

I sense this reaction is what separates different aspects of #theresistance. Some, especially media talking heads, simply pine for the days when the President treated them with some modicum of respect and had tact, rather than actually caring for exact policies by Trump.

In that sense, then, these people would like to go back to the status quo and would forgive Trump in a heart bit (though in their deepest of hearts I know they are happy that he helps their ratings with his palace intrigue and reality show instincts).
